W8: Oxyfuel Processes

  • Follow shop safety practices.
  •  Maintain a clean, safe work area.

  • Perform hard surfacing operations on plain carbon steel.
  • Examine tack and complete welds.
  • Execute corrective actions to repair surface flaws on welds and base metals.
  • Recognize fundamental principles of the oxyacetylene joining processes covered.
  • Explain fundamental principles of the oxyacetylene joining processes covered.
  • Interpret elements of a drawing or sketch.
  • Interpret welding symbol information.
